Duo's Rejection part 1
Duo raced down the street towards the house that he and the others stayed at. He opened the door and dashed passed Wufei and Quatre and ran upstairs. "Heero… HEERO YUY" Duo shouted from the room door. "WHAT IS IT DUO!" Heero shouted back. "Let me in will ya… Come on Heero open the damn door!" Duo snapped. Heero slowly got up from his laptop and walked over to the door, he moved the lock and backed away from it as Duo stormed his way in. "What's got into you Shinigami?" Heero asked him. "It's none of your bloody business OK!" Duo yelled as he shoved Heero onto the bed. Heero then got up and glared at Duo, then he walked slowly out of the room and went downstairs. He walked into the living room where Wufei, Quatre, and Trowa sat on the couch watching telly. Heero tried to hide his emotions, but failed "What's up Heero?" Quatre asked as he noticed a tear starting to crawl down his check from his clear Prussian blue eyes. "I…I don't want to talk about it the now" Heero sobbed. Wufei who had been listning to them had a good idea of who it could be. Wufei went silently out of the room and went up the stairs and stood outside the room Heero and Duo shared as soon as he got to the top. Wufei knocked on the door. "Who the hell is it?" Duo yelled. "It's only me Duo, can we talk?" He asked softly "Yeh I suppose so Wufei, come in I didn't lock it" Duo replied. Wufei opened the door and walked over to Duo who was lying on his bed staring at the roof. "Can I sit here?" Wufei asked politely "Yeh go ahead" Duo answered as He came up to a seated position. "What you doing up here anyway Wufei? Heero didn't say something to you and the others? Duo asked with a bit of shakiness. "No but Heero's trying not to cry about something, I gathered it had something to do with you, and I just thought that I would come and see what's been going on. So Duo tell me what's going on, you and Heero used to be great lovers, best of friends and all that." Wufei responded. "Well the reason I'm angry at him is because it was rumoured that he's seeing that guy in our class, you know Paule Tiraxxe again, and that rumour is true. I found out today when I was going to the music room,I opened the door slightly coz I heard a slight bit of moaning, It was him and Paule Kissing I felt so upset that I ran outside, and missed the next 5 periods. I hung around in the school yard for the rest of the day, then I ran home… He said as he remembered the scene that had happened at school that day.
DUO'S FLASH BACK--------------------------------- Duo was walking past the music room. When he heard noises coming from the room he was in next, he stopped and listned. // that sounds like Heero, Hehe wonder what he's doing… probaly imagining a guitar is me or somethin like he was doin the last time, it can't hurt to take a peak, besides the bell isn't gonna ring for another 10 minutes or so// as he opened the door to see what his lover was doing he got a shock. Heero was getting off with Paule, pain shot through Duo's heart he couldn't believe what Heero was doing to him, he left the building and hung around outside for the rest of the day before running home. END FLASH BACK-----------------------------------
"So is that why your mad at him Duo?" Wufei asked him. "Yeh, I… I…" Duo was cut off by the tears he had kept back. Duo flung his arms around Wufei and cried as hard as he could. Wufei was startled at first but then returned the hug and tried to calm him down. Duo cried for good 10-20 minutes before Quatre had told Trowa what had happened, because he was busy watching a film. Quatre and Trowa came up to see what Duo was doing to Heero. Quatre was about to say something until he noticed that Wufei was in the room with Duo already talking to him. Wufei heard them and looked up then turned back. "Duo, stop crying it's going to be all right." Wufei said as he cuddled Duo in his arms. Quatre and Trowa heard someone behind them and turned round to see Heero coming up the stairs. "Where the hell did Wufei go!" he sneered //he better not be where I think he is!!// he thought to himself. Quatre could see Death and a raging fire starting to build in Heero's cold Prussian blue eyes. "There both in there" Trowa said as he pointed. Heero walked past them and into the room and stared at Wufei and then growled as he got closer to him. "Wufei, what do you think your doing with my guy!" he said as he grabbed Wufei by the collar and pushed him away from his beloved Duo. "It's not what you think Heero I know wha…" Wufei shot back at him. "Yeah right Wufei you are thinking of taking my Boyfriend are'nt you, Bastard!" Heero yelled back. Duo watched helplessly as Heero started to give punches, kicks, and insults at Wufei. As Wufei got tossed out of the room he flew into Quatre. Trowa quickly pulled Quatre up, then Quatre and Trowa could do nothing. As violent as Heero was they could also get badly hurt or even killed. "WUFEI… NOOOO!!" Duo screamed. Wufei was thrown against the wall before he was kicked in the ribs repeatedly. Duo ran towards the fight and stepped infront of the two, as Heero was about to punch Wufei. Duo moaned with pain as Heero punched him in his stomach. "OH MY GOD, DUO… I…" Heero said as he stopped and watched in pain as Duo rolled about for a few seconds, as he gasped to breathe Heero, he turned and looked at Wufei in disgust. "Wufei keep away from my Duo! Got it!" He threatened. "You think I don't… know what happened. HUH HEERO! DUO TOLD ME, HE TOLD ME ABOUT TODAY AT SCHOOL!" Wufei yelled as he attended to his fellow commrad. Duo looked up at Wufei and was shocked at the state he was in, he turned too Heero and glared at him. "Heero… I… I… hate you… you that did something wrong… you told me that you loved me and then you started to see bloody Paule again. And then you take it out on Wufei" Duo blurted. Quatre and Trowa stood with their mouths wide open as they heard Duo out. Heero backed off a bit; Quatre ran over to Heero and pulled him away from Duo and Wufei. He, Trowa, and Heero started to make their way downstairs as Heero broke into tears again.
Duo helped Wufei into his room and attended to his wounds "Wufei… are you ok?" Duo asked as he washed off the blood on his face. "Yeh, I understand Heero's reaction. It's nothing but thanks for attending to…" //I wonder if I can have a chance with him now that im not Heero's anymore… Heh he, well better see// Duo thought to himself. Wufei was cut talking by Duo's finger. "I want to know something… I want to know how much you like me… I like you a lot. Duo said. // Huh, he couldn't of found out… Quatre and Trowa promised me they wouldn't tell… who am I kidding he's so cute, with that braid an all, awww wish I could take him here and now and plus it's trowa we're talking about keeping secrets// Wufei thought slyly. Once Wufei admitted to him that he liked him more than a friend. Duo was glad. Duo then slowly drew him and Wufei in for a kiss. This continued for about 5 minutes. Duo then went back to bandaging up Wufei. "I'll get Trowa to look for any broken ribs coz' your chest looks pretty bruised." Duo said. "Duo" Wufei said softly. "yes" Duo answered, thanks" Wufei replied. "Hey no problem," Duo said jokingly. Duo went down stairs to get Trowa who was attending to Heero while Quatre was getting some drinks for them. Heero noticed Duo at the doorway. "Duo, I can explain." Heero muttered. Trowa turned around to face Duo. "No HEERO I'm no longer wanting to listen to your pitiful excuses! Just stay with paule, I don't wanna be with you! YOU HURT MY FEELINGS… DO YOU HONESTLY THINK I'M GONNA FORGIVE YOU! I only came down to get Trowa to check Wufei's Bruised chest for any broken ribs. Just be thankful I'm not in the mood for killing you!" Duo shouted at the top of his voice. Quatre came rushing into the room, and as usual tried to calm things down a bit. "Trowa go and help Duo with Wufei and I'll try and keep Heero Company." He said in a calm voice. Trowa went upstairs with Duo, while Quatre sat with Heero on the couch. "Tell me Heero… what happened with you and Duo? Tell me how it all started… ok?" Quatre asked with curiosity. "Ok… I'll try to remember what happened" Heero sobbed.
Flashback (Heero's POV)-------------------------- It started at first period at school today, I was talking to Paule and he asked me to hang around with him for the day. I agreed and after the first period, we went to music, we actually got to leave cllass early coz Mr. Taishinni wasn't in nobody came to take us. While in the music room I was getting more aroused every time I looked at Paule, he was nearly as cute as Duo… We got off with each other and I think Duo might of seen us or someone told him, because he wasn't there for second period… "End flashback------------------------------------
Quatre said he should stick with Paule and talk to Duo once he calmed down a bit. That night Duo was starting to take stuff from his old room and transferring it into Wufei's room. Duo jumped as someone had slammed the door behind him or her. -----------------------TBC----------------------- So how'd I do?

Man why'd this have to happen to Trowa he already lost his memory during battle ages ago in the big war we had… Ohhhh I wish it was me, or I even better wish that we never should've done that stupid bloody training mission, this would of never of happened, now Trowa might die…. GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR this shouldn't have happened not like this//
The moments of happiness… We had the experience but missed the meaning and approached to the meaning restores the experience in a different form, beyond any meaning we can assign to happiness….
"Duo, calm down everything is gonna be all right… I hope" Heero said as he turned to look at Wufei who was sitting in his usual position on a chair, crossed arm. ///// Poor Trowa having to be in there, alone and scared… Trowa if you see a tunnel never head towards the light… please for Quatre's sake//// Wufei thought as he slowly opened his eyes to hear someone running towards them with tears flying down his face. "What's wrong Quatre" Heero called to him. "It's Trowa he hasn't got long to live, He's going to die… He is stable for the moment." Quatre sobbed. ///// Hold on Trowa please… GOD please don't take him///// Wufei thought as Duo put a hand on his shoulder. " Wufei… Trowa wanted me to say something to you whenever the time was right and now I think it's time… He wants you to look after Quatre if he ever died" Duo told him. "How longs he got?" Wufei asked. " About two days left… I can't take it!" Quatre cried /// I'm so sorry Quatre, I'm sorry that this happened… Wufei please take care of my angel/// "Let's go and see him before he leaves us then shall we?" Quatre said.
…The past experienced revived in the meaning is not the experience of one life only but of many generations- not forgetting something that is probably quite ineffable…
They crowded round Trowa's bed.
They stayed with him for about 9 hours, before his first day of dying began, as soon as it reached the start of 4:00pm of the second day they all knew including Trowa himself would be the last day they'd see him. The nurses allowed them to stay over in the hospital till the day came when they'd have to say their last goodbye's to him. "Wake up you guys, We need to get changed and go and see Trowa…" Quatre moaned. Wufei put an arm around his upset friend and said to him quietly. "Quatre, you know Trowa wouldn't want you to be sad for him, he'd want you to be happy and be strong no matter what the cause and you know that. I'm going to talk to him alone the now, mainly to give yourself time to get a-hold of yourself" "Thanks Wufei" Quatre replied. Wufei went into the cubical that Trowa was in. "Trowa, Duo told me that you wanted me too take care of Quatre after you leave us…" Wufei asked him. "Yes Wufei it'd mean so much to me if you did. Please protect him like I would, during any fight, battle or even at school…"Trowa said as he trailed off. "At school Trowa you never said, he got bullied." Wufei spluttered. "I tried reasoning with the guy who was doing it but never listened" Trowa admitted. "Well there's going to be a slight change in that. I promise you that Quatre won't be getting anymore Hassle, ok" Wufei said. There was a knock at the door; Trowa and Wufei turned to see Quatre standing at the window. "I'll go and you can talk to him" Wufei said as he left. As the day went on they talked to him one by one, before they knew it, it was the next day, Trowa's last day with them.

It was about 9:00am before they all went in and were going to spend the last few moments with their fellow gundam pilot that would never be able to join them in their future battles. About 11:00am Catherine came to see Trowa before he left her and his circus acting, she stayed until 1:30pm. Time was drawing nearer and nearer each time the clock was ticking, "Trowa will you remember me after you go…?" Quatre asked.
Trowa raised a hand and put it too Quatre's face, Quatre leaned into his hand and Trowa said "Quatre, no matter how it ends I will always Remember you and the others, I swear I'll never forget you. I'll remember that you stayed with me until the very end, of my time just like I would if it was you instead of me. I wouldn't know what to do if anything happened to you… but remember after I'm gone I'll be watching over you, although you won't see me, and I'll also be talking to you although you won't be able to hear me, and you can do the same"

The time was 3:30pm as time drew nearer to Trowa leaving, Quatre and the others all put a hand on Trowa saying their goodbye's and how they enjoyed him being around, they would miss going to watch him performing, and playing a duet with Quatre. 3:50pm he now had only ten minutes, while Quatre was scared of losing him, Wufei put an arm round him, and whispered to him not to be scared. "Qu…Quatre… Be strong for me; never cry over me, meet me later on in life don't do anything stupid… Wufei protect him for me… Heero… I'll miss arguing with you… Duo… I'll miss your jokes and cheering up techniques… Goodbye, my dear friends fight this war till the end for me, bye Quatre…" It was 4:00pm exactly Trowa had died. "TROWA… please don't leave me…" Quatre yelled as he still clung onto Trowa's limp hand. "Quatre, be strong, never cry, meet me later on in life…" These words from Trowa still wrung in his head. /Goodbye Trowa, I'll miss you/ Heero thought his last and final goodbye to the Heavyarms pilot. // Bye old friend we'll sure miss ya, I did tell Wufei as you wanted me two, I won't forget you…// Duo thought in silence. //// Trowa… I will meet you, later… but when's later//// Quatre thought still crying. ///// I promise you Trowa, I'll do what ever it takes to protect Quatre, I won't let you down///// Wufei thought his thoughts out to where Trowa could be.

About two days later they decided to bury Trowa's body in the garden under the tree that he and Quatre loved to sit under. Quatre visited it every day and stayed outside for about an hour each time. Wufei kept his promise that he'd sort the guy who was giving hassle to Quatre, and the promise to protect him no matter what happened. Quatre looked at the starry night above him, and tried to look for the newest star, that would happen to be Trowa's. Quatre had always believed that after you Die you had a star to say you were safe.
//// Remember Qautre you can talk to me and I'll hear you, I'll watch over you and the others although you or them can see me…//// Quatre remembered. "Trowa if you can hear me then please give me a sign" He said at the sky hoping that Trowa would hear him, Wufei was standing at the window watching over his new lover as Duo and Heero were watching over him in their room with the window open. They too were looking at the stars, and wondered if they too would join Trowa later on in life.

"Let the memory live again..." Quatre sighed as he remembered the words from a play he and Trowa auditioned for a long time ago. Owari-

Wufei: We were crying when we read it.
Quatre: Yeah I'm still crying, I'm supposed to die in the next part.

It had been three years exactly after Trowa's Death; they still visited his grave in the garden under the tree, and also got back to their normal happy lives. Where as Trowa himself still missed being with his friends, but he had made new friends up where he was. There was Mark that had died in a car accident; he was his first friend. His second friend was ages with him and Mark her name was Mari. She had risked trying to save a boy's life in her class during a fight; she loved him deeply and watched over him a lot. Trowa thought she reminded her a lot of Duo, she was humorous, always trying to cheer people up. Trowa's third friend reminded him a lot of Wufei, always thinking he could have done better. His name was Kollin. He had also got killed in a fight. Mark reminded him of Heero, and his other friend was like Quatre himself, his name was Paule and he loved to hang around with his newest friends. All the male angels wore a nice soft blue top that fit tightly around them although it didn't hurt them and a dark blue leggings, and the female angels wore a light purple top that also fit tightly around them, and nice light blue leggings. " Hey Trowa, what's up?" Mari said to him. "Hey Mari, I miss Quatre I want to see him again… but I don't know I'm going to do that." Trowa said back to her. Mari came over and sat beside her friend and talked to him for a while before going to the Anjellicle leader to see if he could help. "Welcome my children what can I do you for?" the leader said. "Father, Trowa wishes to see his friend that is down on earth, but he doesn't know what to do…" Mari answered politely as Trowa stood by her side. "Hmmm well I could let you go if you wanted Trowa, but someone with great skill would need to go with you, out of your friends who has been back to earth before?" The leader asked. "I… I… don't know" Trowa said. "I've been three times to see Paul, you know father the one who I tried to save during a fight." Mari put in. "Well, Trowa would you mind if Mari went with you?" he asked. "No… I wouldn't mind… I was planning on staying for… how long are you allowed anyway Father?" Trowa asked nervously. "I'm allowing you to have up to 10 years if you like." He replied. "Thank you father when can we leave?" Trowa asked with a smile. "Right now if you want" He said.
With that Trowa and Mari said a quick goodbye to the others and made their way down to Earth. They stopped at a cloud that led them their, Trowa looked down. "Waaa I never knew we were this high up, I've done worse… infact I don't know which to call worse, this height or the rope at the circus." "Heh-heh it's easy" Mari said as she grabbed Trowa's hand. "What's easy?" He asked with a confused look on his face. "this" Mari replied as she pulled Trowa over the edge of the soft cloud. Trowa was laughing, as he never felt it could be so good to fly. Back on Colony 00544874 the G-boys were at school. Quatre was in Music with Wufei, a new kid was there, "Hi my names Iain, it's a pleasure to be with you" Quatre leaned over to Wufei and whispered something to him, Wufei laughed. Duo and Heero were in P.E they also had a new person joining them. His name was Heiko. Later when it was lunchtime, the G-boys were sitting across from Iain and Heiko. Wufei and Heero left to get something to eat while Hilde and Franzz called Duo away from the table. Wufei was paying for his lunch when he noticed Heiko going over to Quatre. "Hey there Quatre, I've heard about you from Iain, I'm Heiko and I come from Germany, I only moved to this colony a couple of days ago. How long have you been here?" Heiko said. As Quatre was about to speak Iain came over and sat at the other side of Quatre. Wufei, Heero and Duo decided to sit at another table, as they didn't trust the two near Quatre. Duo decided to stay at the table whilst Heero and Wufei went quietly over to the old table. "Well Quatre, are you gonna talk or are we gonna have to beat it outta ya?" Iain said nastily. Quatre didn't want move he could see out of the corner of his eye that Wufei and Heero were near him. "Hey Quatre, you coming?" Heero called to him as both Heiko and Iain looked up, to see two other boys standing behind Quatre. Quatre quickly got up and went with Heero and Wufei to the other table. "What was Iain saying to you?" Wufei asked. "He was asking me all these questions and one was 'Was it you who killed your friend Trowa Barton!' I couldn't answer that one, He threatened to knock it out of me if I didn't tell him" Quatre told him, knowing that he would do something about it. "Well we'll see about the knocking out part," Duo said as he gave a death glare to Iain who just happened to keep looking over occasionally. "Yeah, if he knocks you Me, Duo and Wufei would be having a nice little chat with him." "Hey Mari how long before we reach Quatre's?" Trowa asked. "Another hour, and we'll be there…" She trailed off as Trowa asked another question. "Will we be able to reveal ourselves?" "Of course Trowa, The Angelic Leader let's us he let's us decide when we want to show our selves." Mari replied. "That's good anything I should know?" Trowa asked getting a bit nervous again. "Yeh, before you reveal yourself Trowa, you should make sure that Quatre's alone.
But if you reveal yourself to him I'm also revealed to him, don't worry about the wings they disappear until we need' em again, oh and once we reveal our selves to Quatre it means that everyone else can see us." Mari explained. The two only had another 15 mins to get to Quatre's school. Quatre was making his way home when he felt a strange presence behind him, he turned round to see a wind gather up leaves and swirl them up and then over him. Quatre followed the leaves to where they stopped swirling which was infront of him. He glanced at the site that was before him. Two angels stood there, one was a boy with brown hair that came over his face and hid one eye, and he wore a tight blue shirt and dark blue leggings. The other angel was a female who had dark brown hair that was in between the colour of Heero and Duo's, her hair came to her shoulders. She was slightly tanned; she wore a tight light purple shirt with a light blue pair of leggings. Their wings quickly disappeared; the male angel spoke to him. "Quatre I won't forget you, please be strong and don't cry over me… Quatre it's me Trowa" "Tro… Trowa is it really you…" Quatre gasped in surprise as he looked the male angel up then back down "Yeah Quatre it's me I've been allowed to see you and stay with you for another ten years. And this is Mari one of my good friends I met, while I was up there." Trowa said to him. Quatre ran towards Trowa giving him a hug. "It feels so good to be holding you again little one" Trowa said while he tightened Quatre in the hug. "Yeah the same here" Quatre softly replied. Quatre, Trowa, and Mari walked to Quatre's mansion. They walked into the Mansion and went into the living room to find Duo and Heero watching television and Wufei sound asleep on the sofa. "Hey guys Trowa's here, look" Quatre said. Heero and Duo turned round from the Tele and stared as Trowa their long lost companion was standing before them. "Trowa it really is you… I… I… can't believe it." Duo said with excitement. "Who's the bird?" Heero asked curiously. "That's Mari one of his friends" Quatre said. As Wufei was slowly opening his eyes the other guys were making a big fuss over something. "What's going on?" He asked sleepily. "Trowa's back Wu-man and he has a cool chick with him" Duo answered. "Wow, it really is him, but hey where's they chick?" Wufei asked. "Right beside him." Heero answered. "No, that's a onna! Wufei cackled. "Baka, that girl standing next to Trowa is the chick!" Duo snapped. "Oh right, I'm sorry I don't that!" Wufei snapped back. "Yeah, I remember I used to get called that." Mari sighed. "Hey how long you guys staying?" Duo excitingly asked. "Ten years, I think we can come down every so often, can't we?" Trowa asked. "Yeah didn't you hear me, back there? I said I've seen Paul over three times already I'm gonna go see him again sometime, maybe the day we go back, I'll get some sleep and I'll go down the next day." Mari replied. " So what do you guys wanna do then?" Quatre asked. "Dunno Q-man how about we go to town?" suggested Heero. "Mari do you know these guys? Or didn't Trowa tell ya?" Duo asked her.
